About Me

I am an incorrigible tinkerer, who cannot help by modify, hack, or take apart every last piece of tech I've ever had. I try to put that energy to work building things for the web. My days are filled with Wordpress, Photoshop, Balsamiq, and lots and lots of coding.

As an undergrad I studied Cognitive Systems at the University of British Columbia. It's an awesome program which mashes together, psychology, computer-science, and linguistics.

When I am not on a computer, I spend my time on various DIY projects, gaming or reading science fiction and graphic novels. In the summer I cycle, in the winter I teach skiing.

I love to use amazing:

  • PHP Storm
  • Sublime Text
  • Balsamiq
  • Emmet
  • Git
  • Grunt.js
  • Vagrant

  • Angular.js
  • Node.js
  • WordPress
  • jQuery
  • Bootstrap
  • D3.js
  • Highcharts.js

Youth Farm

This non-profit organization works with Minneapolis communities to encourage youth stewardship by teaching them to provide yummy, fresh produce to their own neighborhoods. As part of a team of volunteer creative professionals assembled by Epic, I helped rebrand a relaunch the Youth Farm organization. Our efforts were recognized by the American Institute of Graphic Arts which awarded us a (Re)design Award.
